Currently, there are 3 methods to interact with SoundWave, which are:

Legacy prefixes (such as =) (Available until 31st August 2022)
Slash Commands (accessed by using "/" in the chat)
Tagging the bot (by using @SoundWave)

Prefixes are going away

As of 31st August 2022, in-messages prefixes will not be usable anymore as Discord is removing bot access for legacy prefixes to work.

Custom Prefixes (workaround)

You can achieve almost the same thing as a custom prefix by modifying SoundWave's nickname. Since interacting the bot requires tagging the bot, changing the nickname of SoundWave to something short and simple (Ex. any nickname with @) enables you to quickly tag SoundWave and execute the command.
